
The Friends of Whitcliffe Common has grown out of the Whitcliffe Commoners Association. The intention is to widen the base of support and the interest in the Common.

Financial assistance has already been received from:

- The Forestry Authority
- South Shropshire District Council
- Marches Woodland Initiative
- Rural Action
- Ludlow Town Council
- Ludford Parish Council
- Private donations
Money is always needed to meet the ongoing management of the Common. Your help is needed to ensure that this exciting project can be completed and managed in the futureThe restoration will of course be of benefit to all local people and visitors to the area. It is anticipated that an attractive, safe place to visit will draw people to Ludlow with consequent economic advantages to local businesses.
